Brittiany Newsome FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
Brittiany Newsome is a board certified family medicine and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She obtained her bachelors of nursing from Georgia Southwestern State University, her masters in science of nursing from Albany State University, and her post masters from Washburn University. Mrs Newsome has practiced as a nurse since 2007 and as a nurse practitioner since 2012. She is board certified in family practice through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and in psychiatric care through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She lives in Pagosa Springs, Colorado with her family and provides care to local patients as well as offering remote telemedicine services through private practice at Mountain Health and Psychiatric Services.
Calvin Newsome FNP-C
Calvin Newsome is a board-certified family medicine nurse practitioner with extensive experience in both primary and specialty care. He has worked in clinics focusing on Neurology, Cardiology, Otolaryngology, and Gastroenterology. Mr. Newsome earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southwestern State University and his Master of Science in Nursing from South University. He has received additional training in family medicine for children and adults and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Since beginning his career in 2013, Mr. Newsome has provided patient care in various settings, including emergency care and intensive care units (ICUs), as well as in primary and specialty clinics. A military veteran, he served in both Gulf Wars with the United States Army. He has been a resident of the Pagosa Springs community for over 10 years, where he is married and has three children. He considers it a privilege to live, raise his family, and provide care in this rural community. Currently, Mr. Newsome is pursuing additional board certification in psychiatric and mental health to further expand his scope of practice.
